Development and testing of staple-vegetable blends based on neglected and underutilized species for human nutritional sufficiency and functional ecosystem services among households in Western Kenya.

Responsibilities

1.Desk review of the project documents to identify strengths, gaps and opportunities for mainstreaming nutrition into PRELNOR and VODP II projects in Uganda
2.Comprehensive field-based evaluation of the project to fill any gaps in information realized following desk review: information collection tools development, focus group discussions, key informant interviews. Target groups include project implementation team, project extension service providers and project end-users (beneficiaries).
3.Development of a feasible strategy to be used in the implementation of the recommendations following desk review and field evaluation
4.Development of the toolkit that feeds into the Nutrition education SBCC strategy (training manuals, job aids, and other extension materials)
